Glamping-camping | North Devon (pt1 campsite review)

Mill Park campsite (https://www.millpark.com/)

Mill Park Campsite, Mill Lane, Berrynarbor, Nr Ilfracombe,North Devon, EX34 9SH

Back in 2017 I was six months pregnant when we decided to go on a little adventure to relax and celebrate our very last little trip as just two of us (and Buster of course). It was March it was nice but cold and we decided that camping might not be ideal considering the circumstances. So after doing a my usual research I found this beautiful campsite situated not far from the coast in North Devon just outside Ilfracombe. It offered these cute little glamping pods (bigger and smaller ones), Lotus Bell Tents as well standard camping pitches with or without electric hook ups. There was also a lot of caravan spaces available.

We went for a bigger sized glampod, at the time it cost something around Β£100 per night. We had to bring our own bed, the only things included in the price were a kettle and electric heater which was good enough for us. And there was also a gas BBQ on a little porch outside the pod. It was just what we needed as we had our own camping stowe and other camping equipment.

The campsite situated 15 minute walk from the coast it has fantastic facilities and the best showers I’ve ever used on a campsite. Pub on site that serves really nice food, there is a small playground for kids and even has its’ own little waterfall. A little fishing lake has plenty of fish, from small brims to bigger carps, make sure to pay a daily fishing fee if you want to use it. This is where I caught my first ever fish and I was really proud of myself, my boyfriend managed to catch few medium sized carps while I was chilling out in the sun.
