Adventures on the way home | Looe to Stonehenge, Cornwall (pt4)

Read my previous posts about our other adventures while visiting Cornwall.

Unfortunately it was Time to go, but we never go home in a straight line, we always make an adventure from our drive home. This time wasn’t different. We decided to take a  coastal route. As always we stopped at few places on our way home, had more ice creams, Buster enjoyed another swim.. how can you say no to him anyway? We even took a little boat ferry from Torpoint to Plymouth which only took few minutes but our son loved it and and said saved us a lot of time because we didn’t have to go through a tollbridge. We had a quick stop at Plymouth and obviously had to see the famous Lighthouse.

There was another place we wanted to stop at. We were literally driving pass it so it would’ve been a sin not to. Stonehenge has always been on my bucket list, I’m glad that we finally made it there. It was pretty late and it was my actual birthday. It was getting dark but we managed to see those famous stones. We didn’t pay for an entry but we weren’t really bothered with that. Because we parked our campervan on a side road which possibly allows for a night stay (but this is not confirmed Info) we had a quick dinner (sausages) and then we were really on our way home. It was a great birthday weekend I love spending my birthday with my family! But for real, next time in Cornwall better be in the summer because it kills me to see those beautiful beaches and not being able to have a swim!

Places we stopped at were :

Downderry (LOL) Beach, PL11 3LD

Church St, St Germans, Saltash PL12 5NP

Torpoint Ferry Crossing, 2 Ferry St, Torpoint PL11 2AX

Lighthouse - Smeaton's Tower, W Hoe Rd, Plymouth PL1 2NZ

Stonehenge, SP4 7DE

Other locations are unknown as we just stopped whenever we liked what we saw.

here’s a map that will roughly show you where we stopped at
