Buster’s epic swim | Polperro, Cornwall (pt3)

Polperro,

The Car Park, Longcoombe Ln, Polperro, Looe PL13 2PL

Visit my previous post to see what other places we visited on this trip.

Another beautiful harbour village that we visited was Polperro. Tourism developed as the main industry during the 20th century but it was well known for smuggling activities in 18&19th century since Polperro developed as a port. Alonga  dramatic rugged coastline is a natural pool, used for swimming. Although it was too cold for us to have a dip Buster didn’t mind the cold and had an epic swim, probably the best swim of his life. Buster is a funny swimmer, he loves swimming in circles and catching any drops of water, he can go like this for half an hour or so, so I wasn’t surprised when he attracted quite of an audience while he was swimming. One of the perks of having super cute water obsessed Labrador..people always stop to look. Fact is that for a 10 year old dog, he still is a pretty good swimmer, and is in better shape than me!

Check out my next post to see our journey home.
