Read previous post about where we stayed and where esle we’ve been on this trip.

On the way home we decided to take a scenic route along the coast and we stopped at absolutely beautiful Lynmouth and Lynton where we spent half a day exploring and just staring at the beautiful landscape. We also had the best fish and chips ever. It was a glorious sunny and hot day.  I went for a little stroll on the beach while my boys were having a nap in the van. The place was pretty busy but we managed to find a parking at the seafront and it wasn’t expensive at all, I think we paid something about £5 for a day. I’m a bit gutted that we didn’t spend more time there. I felt in Love with the place and I really wanted to explore more but it was time to go. At least we have an excuse to go back.

North Devon is just glorious, the dramatic coast line, picturesque harbor villages, Exmoor national Park. There is so much to see! I know Devon is not as popular as Cornwall but in my opinion it’s as beautiful. I really want to go back, but I think South Devon is calling me this year. I can hear it loud and clear ;)
