Our van set up for the trip. “Citronex”(our van) was nowhere near ready at the time (Still isn’t). Apart from some insulation and swivel captain chairs nothing was done. Now we have fixed double bed which makes our life a lot easier as we can hide all the storage underneath. We only had our inflatable mattress and camping kitchen cupboard, and usual camping equipement including a portable toilet (highly recommended if you have inpatient toddler and a space in your car/van.
The campsite was only located about 5 or 10 minutes walk from the beach so it was very convenient. Facilities At the campsite were amazing. There were few shower & toilet blocks available on site. Hot showers were free, they also have a little kitchen available with washing up areas, there was also a washing rooms with coin operated washing machines and dryers. I believe that every pitch has an electric hook up but don’t quote me on that and check the website. The reception area had some basic souvenirs and ice creams for sale which was pretty good in my opinion, staff was super nice and very helpful. The beautiful views surrounding the campsite were amazing as the campsite allows dogs they also have access to a field where you can let your dog free so they can have their morning toilet and a run if needed and there is a nearby woodland where you can go for a little hike. They also have few glamping pods available and a lot of pitches for tents as well as caravan and campervan spaces with electric hook ups. The campsite also has its own fishing lake which we took a full advantage off of course. My boys caught one little fish so wasn’t super successful but how enjoyable J (make sure to buy fishing day ticket at reception) .
